This site is nothing more than my opinionated views and understanding of Japanese culture. I write thisisjapan.net to satisfy my urge to express myself in lonely country like Japan. I intended to write about Japanese Life in General, I also intend to teach Japanese Language with emphasis on Technical Japanese for IT and I also I would write about interesting news, interesting japanese gadgets and robots and vending machines and anything interesting things like that.

This site does not intended to be an authorative guide on Japan nor I am an authorized person to write about Japan. It is highly opinionated. It is not a site that gives you anything real, but would keep informed about how to live in Japan or how to Learn Japanese. (Again, I am no language expert, I am Level II JLPT, passed out in 2004). But I use Japanese as the first language at home and at work, so I think, I know few more words than they teach in Japanese Language schools.

This is site is not about interesting places to see in Japan or about Sushi and Sakura. It is just about a simple ordinary day to day life in Japan. How Japanese live their life and what they feel about foreigners. I don’t intended to write about Japanese Festivals either. As there are many sites that already do that.
